One building, one system

An effective building automation system should always guarantee high levels of comfort and this can be realised by handing the user a degree of control over the system. In order to achieve the required results, environmental measurements need to be implemented in occupied areas.

FixSus BVBA has teamed-up with Beckhoff Automation to produce the TP10; a simple, affordable room control and environmental measurement panel that uses standard cabling, requires no external power supply, addressing or programming and improves the overall user experience whilst providing a high-end look in any installation.

The glass panel – the design of which can be customised on a unit-by-unit basis – includes 10 touch buttons, dimmable LED indication/feedback for each button and RGB colour-changeable LED indication for all buttons. The device also measures:

  • Temperature (+/-0.3˚C)
  • Relative humidity (0…100%)
  • VOC (air quality, 400…2000ppb)
  • eCO2 (carbon dioxide, 0…2000ppm)
  • Light level (0…50000 LUX)
  • Dew point (0…40˚C)

Designed to work exclusively with Beckhoff control systems, the TP10 uses a single digital input and output, requiring just three wires (0.8mm2, no shielding) to each panel which provides both power and communication to the unit, with all control logic centralised in the Beckhoff controller. This means that it is possible to change the front panel without programming, making it simple to change icons and functionality.

If only measurement is required there is also a version without touch buttons or LEDs – the RoomAnalyzer (RA).
Beckhoff will be showcasing the FixSus TP10 as part of an IoT control solution at the Smart Buildings Show, 7-8 November 2018.
