A single partner for the entire process

Realizations

From historic city buildings to residential care centers and critical infrastructure. Every project began with a specific requirement and received a tailored solution.

  • Hendrik Conscience Building

At the Hendrik Conscience Building, the existing control system per tower is being replaced without the need for major works.

The existing Modbus cabling is retained, while Room Controllers and TP10 panels take over the room control and expand it with additional measurements. Everything is integrated into a single serverless, NIS2-compliant management environment based on industrial technology.
  • Vlinderpaleis (Antwerp Law Courts)

At the Vlinderpaleis in Antwerp, Fixsus renewed the building automation without interrupting the daily operations of the courthouse.

The retrofit brings the various technologies together into one open and centrally managed system, providing a future-oriented basis for maintenance and further optimization.
  • Concertgebouw Brugge

At Concertgebouw Brugge, Fixsus replaced the existing HVAC control system with a single central building management system.

A redundant Beckhoff controller communicates with 41 islands and controls heating, cooling, and ventilation in cascade, fed by 47 Room Analyzers. Fire detection, emergency lighting, and fire dampers are also integrated for rapid alarm follow-up.
  • Rubenshuis Hopland 13

Hopland 13 is the reception building of the Rubens site in Antwerp, featuring an experience center, museum café, reading room, and library.

TIBA3 monitors temperature, humidity, and air quality, and controls the VAV regulation, zoning, and climate control. The hybrid installation, featuring geothermal energy and heat pumps, is prepared for expansion to the other buildings on the site.
  • Flemish government building

In a large Flemish government building in Brussels, Fixsus renewed the building management system without demolition work or significant disruption to users.

The open, central control system reuses existing infrastructure and makes the building manageable, expandable, and ready for long-term support once again.
  • Bpost

Various bpost sites are monitored from a single uniform management environment. Heating, cooling, ventilation, and free cooling operate according to the same logic everywhere, with central monitoring of fault contacts.

The result is a clear and repeatable approach that can be easily expanded to additional buildings.

  • UGent Campus Ardoyen

At UGent Campus Ardoyen, toilets are flushed using a combination of rainwater and locally treated wastewater.

TIBA3 monitors the water supply per building, determines priorities for critical zones, and controls the treatment process based on demand. A subsequent step involves proactive adjustments based on weather forecasts.
  • Leuven Police Headquarters

During the renovation of the Leuven Police Headquarters at the Philips site, TIBA3 coordinates the heating, cooling, and ventilation based on the actual demand per half floor.

Production and supply temperatures are automatically adjusted. In the event of a malfunction, the authorized personnel immediately receive a notification via SMS.
  • UA Antwerp, Building Z

Building Z on UAntwerp’s Campus Groenenborger makes its own technology visible and measurable.

TIBA3 integrates heating, lighting, ventilation, free cooling, and concrete core activation with a hybrid boiler room, BTES field, heat pumps, and boilers. More than 250 sensors provide data for research, monitoring, and precise control.
  • Historic Leuven City Hall

Fixsus is developing the digital heart of the building services for the historic Leuven City Hall.

A single open building management system will centrally integrate the various installations and provide a future-proof foundation for the management of the entire building.
  • Infrabel signal box

For the Infrabel signal box, Fixsus implemented a robust central control system for a critical environment that remains operational 24/7.

Redundancy and continuous monitoring increase operational reliability and ensure that anomalies are quickly detected and followed up.
